Harrc Picnic 2 Miler With the shuffling of the race directors I was finally elected as the official race director for the 2 mile club run which was held before the picnic. I hope I do not get blamed for the rain also. Anyway this was a good day for ducks, but none of the runners complained about the rain. We had 10 runners show up for the club run. There were actually more club members that did show up for the picnic. Fortunately we had a pavilion and we were able to stay out of the rain. Steve Whittle and Al Meric drew the cook duties and had to stand in the rain to do the cooking of the hamburgers and hot dogs. We had some really good food, and a lot of good conversation at the picnic. Guess I should stop rambling and provide the results of the run. Two Mile Run 1. Gary Grobman 12:20 55 2. Brad Westhafer 17:16 56 10. Ed Miller 23:05 70 (Ed did 2 laps before the start of the run, then did 2 more laps with the club run. He got 4 miles in.
